Together with the Head Teacher, who is responsible for day-to-day management, they ensure that the nursery school continues to improve its performance, the key roles of the governors are to;

  • To ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction,
  • To hold the Head Teacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils, and the performance management of staff,
  • To oversee the financial performance of the school and make sure its money is well spent.

All our Governors hold a current Disclosure and Barring Services check.
